YouthFest is free festival for all young people who live, work, study, play, or hang out in Banyule. The festival is made for young people by young people with multiple groups contributing to the planning and delivery of the festival including the Banyule FReeZA crew. Now in its seventh year the festival has grown from a music event to include advocacy opportunities for young people, information on topical issues, sport activities, workshops, and multicultural programming.
